The Founder
"It’s good to meet you! My name’s Gabriel, but you can call me Gabe.
This business was never in the plan of my life. In fact, I never had an entrepreneurial bone in my body. I grew up in the Bronx, completely checked out of reality, immersed in video games, and other distractions that kept me far away from the concept of responsibility.
But to be honest, I was distracted with something much bigger and hidden from the world: my creative mind.
I had vivid dreams for many years, starting from around my first memories as a child. I would draw people, places and things I would see in my head, and even got in trouble at school for doodling more than studying. Eventually, my internal world became my reality.
The result led me down to many years of exploring art. meditation, martial arts, dream analysis, journaling, breathwork, and optimizing overall health and wellness.
Then one night, I had a unique dream:
I felt what I could only describe as God, who showed me a landscape that stretched out farther than the eye can see, covered in what looked like pine trees.
When I woke up, instead of analyzing this dream using Jungian Analysis and archtypes like I usually did, I dove into scripture.
The results led me to exploring the natural environment of the Hudson Valley. I learned about the resins that came off of pine, spruce, fir, and cedars (and the differences between them all), about the flowers that release their powerful aroma in their appropriate seasons, and the healing components of some of these plants.
These discoveries, along with some encouragement from loved ones, inspired the creation of 7Resins Skincare & Perfume."
The Mission
Heritage doesn’t begin in a factory — it begins at home.
For us at 7Resins, this means taking land stewardship seriously. creating tallow-based skincare and natural perfumes that truly restore dry, damaged, inflamed, and acne-prone skin means maintaining unparalleled purity, quality, and care in our products. Every bar of soap, jar of whipped balm, and drop of serum carries the purity of grass-fed tallow, farm-distilled botanicals, and provides the resources needed to grow and cultivate the very botanicals that go into our products. For those who value Vertical Integrity and Geographic Lineage, our products are more than skincare — they are a daily connection to the land that nourishes both body and spirit.

Why Tallow?
Since its inception in 2023, 7Resins has experimented with a number of different ingredients. Some produced great products, while others didn't meet expectations. But if there’s one ingredient that’s added unexpected value to our products, it’s beef tallow.
Whether it’s food, cosmetics, commercial industry, or clothing, cattle has proven to be an incredible asset in cultures throughout history. As far as tallow is concerned, this form of fat provides incredible benefits to the human body. Our soaps here at 7Resins were originally made with vegetable fats such as olive, coconut, and castor oil, and produced some basic results. However, the outcome of incorporating tallow in our soaps, and especially in our popular Whipped Tallow Balm, produced results that far exceeded our expectations.
Here's What We Discovered:
- Like jojoba oil, tallow is a natural oil that mimics our skin’s natural oil. When our bodies recognize a food ingredient thats familiar to the human body, it often absorbs the ingredient without concern (unlike artificial chemicals that give our bodies an allergic response).
- Tallow is naturally loaded with vitamins such as A, D, E and K, which all greatly benefit our skin.
- The purpose of soap is to clean, and vegetable-based soaps do a very good job with that, but sometimes to the point where it can dry our skin out. Thanks to the naturally occurring Vitamin E, Tallow-based soap naturally hydrates the skin, leaving your skin feeling more nourished than before bathing.
- One of the amazing benefits of tallow is it’s immune system boosting properties. Some believe that the result of applying this fat to your skin helps strengthen the natural barriers of your skin from infection and irritations.
- Unlike vegetable soaps, tallow soap can be used not just on your body, but also on your face and hair! This is significant because tallow soap, even though will remove the unwanted gunk from your skin, won’t remove the naturally-occurring fats from your skin or hair!
- When compared to vegetable soap, the tallow difference can be FELT. Creamy and rich in texture, bathing with tallow soap gives a unique and luxurious feel to your bathing experience.
